Drum Machine Editions is an independent publisher and contemporary printmaking studio in Asheville, NC, USA. Founded in 2018 by Erik Pedersen, DME’s mission is to publish experimental new work by artists, writers, & musicians.
We are committed to building an equitable and transparent publishing model that empowers artists to negotiate all the terms of their projects’ production and distribution, from materials and division of labor to pricing and percentage splits on every sale.
Drum Machine Editions is ERIK PEDERSEN (publisher, designer, master printer) and DOUG (shop dog), with frequent support from WHITNEY GILCHRIST in the form of editorial advice, photography, hand modeling, and love.
